When in Portugal, don't forget to visit the small town of Sintra. Besides being very charming, with several typical shops, over there you should go to Sintra National Palace and also to a very traditional pastisserie called Piriquita. Ask for a pastry called Travesseiro (pillow). It is like a crescent roll dough filled with an almond cream in a "pillow" shape. Delicious! And to drink, of course, a Port wine!
