It´s been a while that I wanted to write about 3 Sprouts and I never did, but since today I saw its products in a morning TV show, I decided what was already time to do it!
3 Sprouts is a new enterprise created by 3 friends, that produces organic and eco-friendly objects of decoration and organization for babies, always using animals as subject. They are simple objects, but so charming and childlike that make us want to buy everything! They have towels, cushions, vertical organizers, carriers, baskets, storage bins and boxes and photo frames.

Cute, no? The products are available on their website or Amazon.

Picnic two thumbs up!

Yesterday was my last show at the Hollywood Bowl and this season will be missed: the shows were great, the weather was super nice and the task of bringing food and drink was delicious!
This time, my hubby and and I went to concerts along with another couple, so we took the opportunity to bring something different, tasty and easysuch as: sandwiches (wraps type), hummus, baby carrots, chips, melon with prosciutto, brie with jam, grapes, cherry tomatoes salad, sliced breads (different styles like focaccia, baguettes), water and wine.
This menu is perfect not only for concerts but also for the park, museums or on the road. But remember to take everything chopped and ready, and do not forget cutlery, disposable plates and cups (good tip here), napkins and bottle openers.
To carry all this, you can take a normal bag (the one below was used by me in my first trips to the Hollywood Bowl!)...

Or if you are - or will be - a fan of picnics, you can invest a little more in thermal bags with compartments and dividers like these (some of them cutlery is already included):

Or the most traditional, English style, charming like these:

All products above are from Picnic at Ascot. An amazing store with everything to make your picnic even more enjoyable (and they also have blankets, chairs, coolers, etc.). But the important thing is to do everything with love and affection, have fun, and enjoy these delicious moments with your loved ones.

Boon Inc

In one of my internet researches I found Boon Inc.
With innovative design, their specialty is to create and to give a new face to objects that can make child and parents' lives easier, and not only during bath and lunch time but also when it comes to play, decorate and organize.
Their website has some really cool ideas and the prices are very reasonable (also available at Amazon). I selected some interesting products:

- Toys/bath accessories organizer (with holes that drain the water)

- wrap protective bowl cover (to fit different sizes)

- a storage bag that also works for sitting and decorating

- utensils and lawn countertop drying rack

For a more modern and colorful baby and home!

Travel size toiletries

I've already said here that I am totally in love with travel size toiletries (and to confirm it, the photos below are from "my personal archive"), and today I went to Bed, Bath & Beyond and was surprised by the amount of miniatures they carry there! It is by far the best of all stores and drugstores! You can find absolutely everything in travel size: shampoos, face and body creams, toothpastes, deodorants, makeup removers, soaps, powders, oils, shaving foam, hair sprays, hand sanitizers, baby items and many other things that certainly will make your trip more convenient and organized!

No more beauty treatments sacrified when traveling!

Be prepared for summer vacation!

Summer vacation coming up and many people are going out of town/country. So here are some tips for you to pre-organize your trip and really enjoy your vacation:
- Research on the location, hotel, surroundings, weather and create a list of everything you need (some hotels offer hair dryers, towels, bathrobes, toiletry items, etc.)
- Tell your friends, relatives and closest neighbors where you're going, how long you will stay and how you can be contacted in case of emergency (if it's an international trip, also call your credit card company so you can check if is everything OK with your card)
- Let the pets with friends; water plants; time the lights in the house; cancel newspaper's  deliveries; hide valuables (jewelry box, for example)
- If traveling by car, take it to your dealer for a full-check (brakes, oil, windshield, fire extinguisher, flashlight, tires)
- About the clothes, try to combine colors and match pieces (black, brown, grey are very easy to match with any other colors)
- If traveling by plane, take with you (on your body!) the coat/jacket and shoes that take up more space in your suitcase. Another tip is to put underwear in plastic bags inside the shoes
- Make a file with all the information pertinent to your trip. So you do not need to take guides, books, notes etc.
- Prepare a kit with daily use medicines and also those who would need prescription in case you need. Others, depending on your location, can be easily found at drugstores.

Shoe organizing...

No matter the amount of shoes we have, it's always a good idea to store them properly so they last longer and you do not get crazy looking for a lost pair! Here are some tips to keep your shoes organized and protected:
1 - Analyze your closet: Is the size appropriate? Is it functional?
2 - take a look at all your shoes and ask yourself: which models do I like? How often do I wear them? Which ones I haven't wore for a while? (in this case, donate them. In addition to creating more space, you'll feel good!)
3 - Keep all your shoes in a transparent labeled box or bag. So you will be able to see every pair and much easier to identify them.
4 - Shoes that are not used frequently can be stored on higher shelves or even in another place (still in transparent packaging and labeled);
5 - Keep your shoes clean (upper, sole, insole). Boot shapers are useful to maintain the shape of tall boots (tip: if you do not have boot shaper, roll a thick magazine and place it inside the boot. The result will be the same!)
Follow these tips you will surely find more space in your closet to buy that dreaming new pair of shoes!
