In love: Crocheted Bowl

This crocheted bowl  has only the look of crochet. Actually it's made ​​of one type of rubber (neoprine), but I'm in love anyway. Super cool, it's handmade in Italy and come in different sizes.

It'll be really pretty on your kitchen table filled with colorful fruits!

In love: Candle Wax Vase

Here is an amazing idea: a candle wax vase, made ​​of blown glass. So far, nothing too amazing, but the thing is that as the candle melts, the wax falls into the vase, filling it and forming an image (which reminds me of those sand drawings). Another great thing about it, is that when the vase is full, you can send it back to the designers and they will send you a new one!
It's a bit expensive, but think of this product as 3 in 1: vase, candle holder and artwork! And as they are hand-blown, one will always be different from another. Definitely in love!

Herb Gardens

I love the idea of ​​having my own fresh herbs, available in my yard or by my window. Until some years ago, if you wanted to grow your own herbs, you would need a house with a big yard or live in the countryside. However, nowadays there are nice herb gardens that you can keep indoors and with artificial light!
It's not difficult to find houses with these herb gardens by the windows in LA and, oddly enough, they look beautiful and kind of easy to use. If you are up to do this, and if you buy the right products (seeds, soil etc), I think it can work!

I'm in love with this "adult version" of a pig money bank, created by the American designer Harry Allen.

Made of resin and available in different colors, you can use it not only to hold your bills and coins, but also as an amazing and modern piece of decor.
The production is limited (200 units for each color) and if you buy one, $10 will be donated to humane society for the prevention of cruelty to animals anywhere.

Curiosity: the designer, an animal lover, used a real piglet to sculpt this piece.

The cold weather is already hitting hard some states in the US and even living in "Sunny California" sometimes gets cold in here too. So last week I could not resist and bought something to keep hubby and I warm this winter: a faux mink throw.
Americans use throws a lot not only to wrap around the body and legs, but also for its original purpose which is to throw on the bed or sofa to decorate.
